There’s a reason why Terrigal takes over once warm weather hits the Central Coast.

Actually, there’s a few reasons…

Read on for our guide for a great day feasting, shopping and sunbaking along one of New South Wale’s premier stretches of sand.

8:30am – Morning Walk – The Haven

Take a sunrise walk around Terrigal beach and the Haven. You can work up your appetite by walking up the Skillion where you will get a beautiful view, as well as a good workout.

9:30am- Brunch – Bellyfish Café

After your strenuous walk we are sure you would have worked up a serious appetite (and need for a coffee). We would seriously recommend the Chorizo and Potato Omelette or the Pork Belly Eggs Benny!

11:00am – Morning Activity – Terrigal Ocean Tours

The Whale Watching Tour and Summer Blast Tours are both great options. We prefer the Whale Watching Tour as it’s a bit longer and who wouldn’t want to see some whales (and dolphins)?! The tour is also a great way to explore Terrigal and its surrounding suburbs as even if you don’t see wildlife you are guaranteed some great views!

1:00pm – Lunch – The Reef Terrigal

Overlooking Terrigal and The Haven, The Reef is the perfect spot for a beautiful lunch, degustation and a wine. Perfect to wind down after your sightseeing tour.

Feel like royalty whilst dining and gazing out at the pristine ocean views of Terrigal.

Montaze

For the mum who has a job so that 50% of her income goes into homewares and the other 50% pays for cello lessons and school uniforms (all in a good way!).

Love and Tonic

For the health nerd that hasn’t grasped the concept of the Holiday Diet and still drinks green juice and goes to the gym when on vacation.

Precious Little

For the aunty, grandma, friend and first-time mum that has to make those initial clothing purchases as the ‘hand me downs’ have not come into full force yet.

Style On Point

For all women with an Instagram account this is the place to get that white linen shirt, ripped denim and aviators for that cool insta-shot with a coffee in hand against a coloured wall.

Make Up And More

This shop has options for all! From those up-and-coming YouTube beauty gurus, the el naturel lovers and the girlfriends who buy their boyfriends face products as presents as they are sick of them using their moisturisers (that’s right we notice!)

5:00 – Drinks – Rhonda’s

A classy little beach bar with a selection of all your favourite cocktails and appetisers for that pre dinner snack.

This bar is not to be overlooked.

Their aim is to

“Create a special space where heavenly fare, delicious drinks and positive energy flows”

They have been in the business for over 25 years so let’s just say their food is ‘to Thai for’

Confession. We have not ventured into the mysterious restaurant that is The Joker and The Thief as of yet (partly because when we are writing this article it opened 3 days prior!). However, what we have gathered from their Instagram, their menu and the location this place is a must go to!

8:30 – Dessert – Terrigal Ice Creamery

By far the best ice cream in Terrigal. They have a flavour to suit everyone as well as a large selection of dairy free, soy free, gluten free, but surprisingly not taste free ice-creams to such as chocolate, salted caramel and watermelon sorbet!

If you are with 3 or more friends, we would HIGHLY recommend The Sink. Which is a selection of multiple ice-cream flavours in well… a sink (trust our judgement on this one). And besides you earned it after your walk this morning *justification*
