That laneway just below Milsons Point Station has long been crying out for some sort of cafe or eatery. The luxury car showroom just a few doors up is nice and all but if you’re a commuter in dire need of a incentive to get to work every day, coffee really is the only thing that’s going to cut it.
The team at Bay Ten have delivered this and then some, sharing the space with a specialist bike fitter and a sports physio (The Body Mechanic). It’s essentially a one-stop-shop (the cyclery even has a shower).
The cafe itself functions out of a recycled shipping container, reportedly purchased on the cheap from the NSW police who seized it for smuggling narcotics into the city. The highs at Bay Ten are purely caffeinated though and if you’re looking for a seriously good drop on a hot day, you can’t go wrong with a glass of their 16 Hour Cold Brew.
Warning: May encourage impulse Ferrari purchases.
The decor is that perfect mix of industrial luxe and we challenge you to order a latte and not spend a least a few minutes pondering the lighting. “It blends so well with the raw concrete… one sugar please…maybe I should buy a bike?“
Here, you can have a coffee, get a little interiors inspo, have your tyres replaced and even make an appointment for the in-house physio at the same time.
Funnily enough it all makes sense. We don’t think it’s a stretch to assume coffee lovers enjoy bicycles. It also doesn’t seem impossible that those that ride bikes might also be in need of a little physical TLC. Genius is what it really is.

Try the homemade granola. There’s some serious word-of-mouth surrounding this dish and we were skeptical to start with. We mean, how good can a granola get? Turns out it’s pretty darn up there. It’s probably more like an apple crumble topping thanks to the perfectly timed grilling. The result is soft, warm and crunchy as hell.
